Office of the Bishop

Bishop Brom has announced the following:

Bishop Brom has appointed Monsignor Edward Lyng pastor emeritus of Mary Star of the Sea Parish, La Jolla, effective July 1, 2008. 

Bishop Brom has accepted the request of Monsignor Henry Fawcett for retirement status and has appointed him pastor emeritus of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, San Diego, effective July 1, 2008. 

Reverend Patrick Murphy has been appointed pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, San Diego, effective July 1, 2008.

Reverend Andres Ramos has been appointed administrator of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Ramona, effective July 1, 2008.
