Bishop Brom has announced the following: 

Rev. Alexander Aquino has been appointed chaplain at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital, with residence at Holy Family Parish, effective June 29, 2007. 

Rev. Manuel Ediza has been appointed pastor of St. Michael Parish, Paradise Hills, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. Earl Eggleston has been appointed pastor of Our Lady of Angels Parish, San Diego, effective June 29, 2007.

Very Rev. Jaime Escobedo has been granted his request for a sabbatical leave after which he will receive a new assignment.

Rev. Armando Escurel has been appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, San Diego, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. Justin Langille has been appointed pastor of St. Louise de Marillac Parish, Crest, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. David Leon has been appointed chaplain for the hospitals in South Bay; Scripps Mercy, Sharp and Paradise Valley Hospitals, with residence at St. Rose of Lima Parish, effective June 29, 2007. 

Rev. Cecilio Moraga has been appointed chaplain at UCSD Medical Center and Sharp Cabrillo Medical Center, with residence at St. Joseph Cathedral, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. Pedro Rivera has been appointed associate pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Vista, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. David Sereno has been appointed administrator of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Imperial, which includes ministry with the inmates at the El Centro Immigration and Processing Center, effective June 29, 2007.

Rev. Edgar Serrano has been appointed associate pastor of St. Rose of Lima Parish, effective June 29, 2007.
