Brief history and theology of the Liturgy of the Hours as the continuation of the prayer of Christ by clergy, religious and laity. Features two couples in diaconal formation walking through the steps of praying Evening Prayer at home, using the single-volume breviary: Christian Prayer. The presentation closes with excerpts of Evening Prayer in a parish setting, to show the individual’s union with the whole Church at prayer through the Divine Office.
