Administrative Assistant

 

The Diocese of San Diego, Pastoral Center, has an opportunity for a regular, part-time (14-18) hours per week) Administrative Assistant supporting the Office for Civil Affairs.  The responsibilities of this person include administrative and secretarial assistance to the director, preparation of routine court filings, preparation of annual property tax exemptions, and maintenance of related files and records.        

Applicants should have:

  • Excellent secretarial, organizational and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, desktop publishing, and database management.
  • Background in legal field or real estate preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.  Spanish speaking skill desirable, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the organizational structure of the Diocese and background in parish ministry desired.
