NCHLA works closely with the Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and serves Church organizations at the national, state and diocesan level. NCHLA assists state Catholic conferences, dioceses and Catholic lay groups. Its objectives include educating, organizing and developing pro-life legislative networks. NCHLA produces educational and program materials, communicates in a timely manner with leaders about legislative priorities, and presents Legislative Seminars to leaders throughout the year.

The NRLC was founded in 1973 in response to a United States Supreme Court decision released on January 22 of that year, legalizing the practice of human abortion in all 50 states, throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy. The goal of the NRLC is to restore legal protection to innocent human life. The primary interest of the National Right to Life Committee and its members has been the abortion controversy; however, it is also concerned with related matters of medical ethics pertaining to the right to life issues of euthanasia and infanticide. 

Priests for Life

A movement of priests and lay leaders seeking to help the Church use its full strength against attacks on human life. Priests for Life embraces the consistent ethic of life as it is explained in the Bishops' Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Reaffirmation (1985).

Project Rachel National

Founded in 1990, the National Office of Post-Abortion Reconciliation and Healing, Inc. networks researchers and psychotherapeutic professionals working in the field within the U.S. and abroad, consults on the formation of post-abortion support services within secular and religious settings including Project Rachel, provides training for care providers, maintains a national "800" referral line for those seeking assistance in reconciling an abortion experience, publishes the International Post-Abortion Support Services Directory, produces and vends audio, video, and printed materials, maintains an annotated book list, tracks support group models, and sponsors the Healing Vision conference at Marquette University.
