A brief demonstration of the query language for advanced searches is found below. The text search engine allows searches to be formed from expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

Bishop Brom

finds documents containing 'Bishop' or 'Brom'

finds documents containing both 'Bishop' and 'Brom'

 

Bishop not Brom

finds documents containing 'Bishop' but not 'Brom'

 

(Bishop not Brom) and Cordileone

finds documents containing 'Cordileone', plus 'Bishop' but not 'Brom'

finds documents containing words starting with 'Prayer' (including "prayerful", "prayers", etc.)
